4 skills college don't teach to Engineers !

Prepare yourself today to compete with the fast pace of the world
tomorrow.

How many students graduate each year, dreams of earning big, gifting themselves for all that hard work through the years? Out of all the throngs of engineers, how many actually make it big in the corporate world and keep up with the unrealistic pace? Not many. So, what's that factor, that crucial factor which differentiates two grads who have gained the same knowledge?

Even after graduating from full time courses, not all new grads falter at interviews, unable to answer seemingly basic questions, unable to communicate proficiently. The knowledge that college and universities impart might help gain technical knowledge and help in the outside world, but only until a certain point. But, what about the practical aspect? When we enter into the competition in the corporate world, we need to evolve ourselves more than just how or what we were in our educational years.

Preparing yourself for the outside world is that factor that distinguishes the above-
average engineers from the common-engineers. Listed below are some of the factors that might make you appear beneficial to those super-dream companies:
1. Nurturing Creativity:

Most of the colleges concentrate on the scores of the students in the exams. It's not surprising that a college focuses on adhering the syllabus and writing exams. This makes it difficult to nurture the creativity in the students at that crucial stage. It is important that students concentrate on this aspect as much as they do on exams.

Companies want engineers who can think creatively, can have a strong opinion and give inputs to the team rather than those who can just complete the allotted work in time.

5 elements to learn the art of time management

7/5/2017

Post by: Vidhi Shah

Let's get one fact straight! Throughout your life as a college student, the most difficult part is utilizing the apparently sparse time (just 24 hrs!!) to the fullest, time management! There's so much to do in those short little 24 hrs! Attending college, fulfilling social commitments, spending time with your family, work out, SLEEP: the list is endless! Seems impossible, keeping all the three vertices of the triangle : Study, Sleep and Social equal-weighted. Trying to manage all these at the same time can leave you mixed up between stuff, feeling aimless!

Do not try to manage time, instead, try to manage all your activities within time. Once you realize the art of time management, you will eventually be able to fulfill all your activities and hence, manage yourself. Here are some ways in which you can make most of the time at your disposal.
1. Prioritize
Make it a habit to maintain a basic to-do list. List down the tasks you are expected to carry out through the day. Start off with making daily-plans. Gradually, you can start planning for a couple of days, weekly-plans and so on keeping in mind the oncoming test dates, submission dates, etc. The key to maintaining a good list is prioritising things correctly. The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities. As tempting it is to get done with the easy tasks first, it is imperative to schedule them according to their importance and urgency.

After BE ?
Post by: Vidhi Shah

Taking up engineering as a career choice seems like the safest option and hence is chosen by a whooping majority of the students. But is only getting into a good college with a field of choice and getting the word Engineer before your name enough? Even if becoming an engineer is easy and commonplace, what is as vital is what you choose to do after your course.

The question of what to do next has been haunting engineers since times immemorial. There is a myraid of options available for an engineer to chose from. But what option suits the person best depends upon his interests and strengths, his future requirements and the way of life the person wishes to lead. Hence, making the right decision is extremely essential. An overall study of all the available paths is very important as this is that phase of your life which decides the way you lead yourself. Even if one has decided on something, there is nothing at loss in informing yourself about the other available options.

Before exploring the available choices, one must remember that whatever option one chooses, its the hardwork and the will of the person combined with interest that paves that final trail to success. Whatever decision, it should be made by you, for you , rather than yielding the hypocrisies of the society.

The Channels are : JOB, HIGHER STUDIES & STARTUPS

1. Get a Job

If one feels that it has been too heavy to study for four years and does not wish to study any further or at-least immediately, this is the best option! This is considered to be a safer option where you get time to decide which field you want to stick to-Technical or you want to shift your core interest area from technical to management to some other stream.

Before plunging specifically into the genuine answer, how about we first comprehend, What are these blueprints are, Who are planning it ?

What is a blueprint ?

Blueprint are only skeleton of question paper fundamentally, A blueprint gives an unmistakable thought regarding ideas/inquiries to be show up in the paper. lets take a case:

Given Blueprint in your grasp expresses that Q.1-a) Chapter no 2/name of concept (5 marks) which implies that, the primary question of paper will be from second part and for 5 marks. (This clarifies call to set up each one of those critical question of part 2 measuring 5 marks.) Same strategies connected all through the question paper.

Who are designing ?

Blueprints are planned by Mumbai college on the premise of some standard structure, this structure is entirely followed in the semester examination. Shockingly, It is accessible for First year understudies and not for SE, TE and BE.

This conviction is wrecked at this point! since the unparalleled Brainheaters gives blueprints to all subjects alongside first year.

How to use ?

Understudies who think about utilizing outlines/blueprints construct a more astute way for studies. Outlines are intended to drop down harder work and worry amid exams.
